Aladdin Show We are delighted to announce that our two 6th classes will be performing the hit musical 'Aladdin' in Mullingar Arts Centre on the 26th and 27th of February. This is a fantastic family night out, not to be missed. Our 6th classes will be supported by our fabulous school choir each night. Tickets are available from the school office and can be paid for with cash or via our Aladdin system at a cost of €10 per adult and €6 per child. [Open Image]

Traditional Irish Instruments

In our music lessons we are learning about the instruments used in traditional Irish music. One of the girls in our class brought in a fiddle and a tin whistle to show us what they look and sound like. She played us a marvellous tune on her tin whistle. We enjoyed experimenting with the percussion instruments to help us play the beat to Sharon Shannon’s ‘Blackbird’.
