Today, third class enjoyed a trip to Lidls Farm in Newbridge to learn about local produce and how it is sourced & distributed.
The children got to plant their own runner bean, meet the resident sheep and 5 lambs before taking a train ride through one of Lidls largest distribution depots.
The fun didn't stop there! The children got to practise their milking skills on Bo Bo the cow 🐄 😳
A great day was had by all and the children have a newfound appreciation for the work involved in getting food from "FARM TO FORK".
