Aladdin Show We are delighted to announce that our two 6th classes will be performing the hit musical 'Aladdin' in Mullingar Arts Centre on the 26th and 27th of February. This is a fantastic family night out, not to be missed. Our 6th classes will be supported by our fabulous school choir each night. Tickets are available from the school office and can be paid for with cash or via our Aladdin system at a cost of €10 per adult and €6 per child. [Open Image]

Terrific Trumpet players

This week in Music, Mrs. Gilligan's 6th class have been learning about brass instruments such as the Trumpet, the French Horn and the Tuba. 
The children got to try out the Trumpet after watching some videos about 'how to blow into the mouth piece.' 
They were really good at making sounds, which can be quite difficult initially.
We may have an orchestra performance by the end of the year!!
Let's just say, it wasn't the quietest lesson but it was certainly a fun one!
