Last years Students Council came up with fantastic ideas through out all of last year and one of those ideas was the DRS “re-turn” bottle scheme in the school!♻️
The council organised the delivery of the bin to the school and put in a big amount of effort to promote the initiative around the school! The children took time and pride in promoting the scheme and it has all paid off in an impressive way.
To mark their hard work and the huge milestone of the bins being absolutely full to the brim, thanks to the Students Council hard work, the council gathered today to proudly deliver the bottles to the return point.
The sheer number of bottles showed just how well the campaign worked. Students and staff alike played their part, but it was the leadership and organisation of the Student Council that made the effort such a standout achievement.
The money raised from the returned bottles will go toward purchasing new games, sports equipment and resources for the school, turning a simple recycling idea into something that benefits everyone.
The success of the scheme is a testament to the council’s teamwork, dedication, and commitment to making positive changes within the school community.😊
Their efforts have not only helped the environment, they have inspired the entire school! 🎉♻️
