St. Colman’s has a long and proud tradition of supporting and promoting Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society — a cause that is deeply important to us all 💛
As in every year, the Student Council took charge of organising the event. They promoted a non uniform day and encouraged students to donate in support of Daffodil Day. They also collected contributions from every class, ensured everyone received a Daffodil Day pin, and carefully counted the funds before preparing them for donation.
The Student Council is delighted to announce that a total of €1,346.20 was raised!🎉
We are incredibly grateful to every child, family, and staff member who contributed so generously. Your support made this day a great success.
We are very proud of our Daffodil Day in St. Colman’s. The Student Council would also like to extend a special thank you to Ger from the Irish Cancer Society for her help with the merchandise, and to the entire school community for their continued support and generosity.
