In honour of St. Brigid's day and the beginning of Spring, the children made traditional St. Brigid's crosses using reeds and elastic bands. Afterwards they went to mass in St Paul's and had them blessed by Fr. Francis. Traditionally the crosses are hung over doors or in the kitchen to protect the home from fires or illnesses.
