Aladdin Show We are delighted to announce that our two 6th classes will be performing the hit musical 'Aladdin' in Mullingar Arts Centre on the 26th and 27th of February. This is a fantastic family night out, not to be missed. Our 6th classes will be supported by our fabulous school choir each night. Tickets are available from the school office and can be paid for with cash or via our Aladdin system at a cost of €10 per adult and €6 per child. [Open Image]

Settling in to 6th class

Mrs. Gilligan's 6th class have been settling in nicely over the last 2 weeks. 
We have been busy revising fractions and learning about Place Value in Maths. We have been putting all of our skills to practice at various Maths stations in the classroom.
Maths games at the beginning and end of our lessons is a great way to boost engagement and it helps to reinforce what we have learned in a fun way. 
The children love playing games in pairs and groups and they learn so much from eachother too.
