Today the Senior Infants travelled to Glendeer Pet Farm for their school tour! We were so excited to travel by bus and sit beside our friends. We sang songs and played i-spy to pass the time. When we arrived we had a quick snack, dropped our bags off and sprinted to the playground!
We were then very lucky to get a tour of Glendeer Pet Farm from our two lovely tour guides, Shauna and Anna, who let us feed some emus, ponies and even a stag! We were also told about the history of the 1850’s cottage and how Farmer Jim used to live and Rio the parrot also had a few words to say!
We had a fabulous day and the children represented themselves amazingly. What a great memory to finish Senior Infants with!
