Aladdin Show We are delighted to announce that our two 6th classes will be performing the hit musical 'Aladdin' in Mullingar Arts Centre on the 26th and 27th of February. This is a fantastic family night out, not to be missed. Our 6th classes will be supported by our fabulous school choir each night. Tickets are available from the school office and can be paid for with cash or via our Aladdin system at a cost of €10 per adult and €6 per child. [Open Image]

Seachtain na Gaeilge

There has been great excitement in 1st class over the last two weeks as we have been celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. We were very kindly invited by the 5th class children to watch their fantastic drámaíocht "Barbie agus na Leipreacháin" and we were amazed at the wonderful performances by all the children involved. We have also been using Gaeilge throughout the day and some of us have even been talking to each other in Irish at play time. We went for a lovely Spring walk along the canal and we were using our Frásaí na Lae as we chatted to our friends along the way. We finished Seachtain na Gaeilge with our Lá Glas and we also went to the hall to watch a Ceolchoirm with performances from some of the children from St.Colman's who are representing our school in Scór na nÓg as well as some of our very talented teachers and local musicians. What a wonderful way to finish our week before we celebrate St. Patrick's Day this weekend. Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh go léir ó rang a haon!
