Wednesday night our pupils proudly represented our school at the recent Scór na bPáistí County Final in The Downs, delivering stellar performances across three categories: Instrumental Music, Novelty Act, and Ballad Group. Each group showcased impressive talent, enthusiasm, and teamwork on the night. We were very fortunate to have such a large group of children representing the school across a variety of events from the very first round to this point.
We are extremely proud of all the children for their fantastic performances. We are especially delighted to share that our novelty act was awarded first place — a fantastic achievement for all involved! These particular children have been competing and working tirelessly since 4th class and yesterday they have been deemed County Champions in their final year in 6th class as representatives of St. Colman’s N.S..
Congratulations also to our quiz team, who achieved a fantastic second place in the county final before the Easter Break. A special mention also goes to our Figure Dancing team and solo singers for progressing to the semi-final in Gaelscoil an Mhuillinn.
Well done to all the pupils who represented the school so brilliantly.Their teachers have taken great joy in witnessing their dedication, progress and determination.We are extremely proud to be apart of such a wonderful school full of opportunities for all!
