Our Run Around Europe Challenge has been in full swing over the last 4 weeks and has now come to an end as we enter the Easter break. This challenge, coordinated by our outstanding Active Schools Committee created a hive of activity on our lap track on a daily basis over this 4 week period.
Our classes put in a monumental effort reaching destinations as far as London, Paris, Berlin, Oslo and Ankara to name a few! The whole school accumulated a combined distance of over 20,000km over the course of 4 weeks. Congratulations to all students and staff on such an incredible achievement!
Also, a huge congratulations to Mrs O'Hanlon's 2nd class and Ms Costello's 4th class on achieving the most amount of laps completed in the junior and senior end of the school respectively. I am sure the children will put their choose time and homework pass to great use!
