It was pancakes galore in Mrs.Walters' junior infant class today! The children were introduced to "procedural writing" and learned how to follow a recipe. Every child got a chance to practice using "bossy verbs" by either putting, pouring, cracking, mixing or stirring to help make the batter. Mrs.Slevin and Mr.Beehan couldn't resist the lovely smell of the pancakes and called in to join in the fun! When our pancakes were cooked we called down to Mrs.Gilligan's room and continued the party by decorating our pancakes before tucking in with our 6th class buddies!
