Today was a very exciting day in Senior Infants!
We visited the Mullingar library for the first time as a class. The children walked in their pairs together into town to the library! We even spotted swans in the park on our way.
At the library, the librarian read us a story, gave us a tour of the library and we even did a scavenger hunt!
After, the children had a chance to explore the books and sit and read. Each child picked one book to bring home. We collected our new library cards from the librarian and checked out our books.
We all had so much fun and can’t wait to visit again! 🎉
