It's been a week since our amazing 6th class performed their highly anticipated Oliver musical in the Mullingar Arts Centre and it's safe to say we are still on cloud nine!
The children have put in so much effort over these last few months with great help coming from Kathy and Steve from the Arts Centre. This hard work was abundantly evident on the night with each child flourishing on the stage. The audience were mesmerised by the amazing acting, singing and dancing on display. Classic hits such as 'Food Glorious Food', 'Pick a Pocket' and 'Consider Yourself' were just a few of the many hits that went down a treat with a packed audience!
Each child felt ten foot tall following the performance and no doubt has provided them with unforgettable memories with their classmates in addition to a huge sense of self-confidence as they enter the formative years of their lives!
Thanks again to all the staff at the Mullingar Arts Centre for their help and support both on the day and in preparation for the show. A special word of thanks also to Catherine Walsh who took photographs of it all unfolding on the night! Memories to last a lifetime no doubt!
Furthermore, huge thanks to those who attended the show and of course to our very own 6th class student's for making the show their very own. We are so proud of them and they should be extremely proud of themselves!
