Junior infants set off on a big bus to Mellowes Adventure Centre, Athboy this morning for their first primary school tour! Waved off by our sixth class buddies, the excitement grew as we met Declan our bus driver, belted up and set off on our much anticipated road trip! When we arrived we had free play time and a chance to explore the playgrounds. We enjoyed the four interactive activities of environment care/seeding and planting fun, sports activities, disco/talent show and parachute fun. Then it was picnic time before another free play! The bus journey home was a quieter trip but we did manage a song or two!! We had a fantastic day out to celebrate a fantastic first year of primary school. Mrs. Walters hopes the children enjoyed the day as much as she did!
