We have been learning about area and perimeter in maths this week. On Friday, we worked in groups to complete a maths challenge- design a zoo! We had to include as many animals as possible while following all the restrictions of the enclosure sizes. We had to included a ticket office, toilets and paths. We got to work, measuring and creating new shapes, colouring, cutting and sticking. Finally, we named our zoo!
