Aladdin Show We are delighted to announce that our two 6th classes will be performing the hit musical 'Aladdin' in Mullingar Arts Centre on the 26th and 27th of February. This is a fantastic family night out, not to be missed. Our 6th classes will be supported by our fabulous school choir each night. Tickets are available from the school office and can be paid for with cash or via our Aladdin system at a cost of €10 per adult and €6 per child. [Open Image]

County Handball

On Friday the 26th of January, a group of 12 5th Class children competed in the Cumann na mBunscoil county Handball competition. The competition took place in Mullingar Handball Club and was a day long event. St.Colman's took part in the 13's and Under 11's events, and the children played a mixture of doubles and singles games. Qualifying to move forward to the Leinster Competition in Croke Park were the U11 girls singles, U11 girls doubles and U11 boys doubles team. The children were each presented with a medal by Mullingar Handball Club's Chairman, Philip Clarke. The Players were accompanied by 3 fantastic helpers, who were chosen, by Natasha, to assist in the running of the games. Each of these children were also presented with an award at the end of the event.
