Today we had a very special visitor to the school. Westmeath football star and parent of Amelia in Junior Infants, Conor came in to meet all the boys and girls and to present our Cumann na mBunscol winning hurlers with their medals. To say the whole school was bubbling with excitement is an understatement. We would like to thank Conor for taking the time to meet and greet every last child, siging autographs and chatting away to them all for the afternoon. A big shout out to Amelia too for sharing her daddy with all the other children for the afternoon. According to herself, all she wants now is a "quiet life"!😊 Wishing Conor and all the Westmeath lads a well deserved rest of the next few days.
