Biodiversity week, 3D shape constructions and painting with our Junior pals
27th May 2025
It's been a busy few weeks in Mrs. Gilligan's 6th class. We had a visit from Nuala, who chatted to us about natural habitats in our local area. It was really fun and interactive. We each held a Newt, which was something we hadn't done before.
We used tooth-picks and blutac to construct 3D shapes such as tetrahedrons, octahedrons, pentagonal prisms and hexagonal pyramids in Maths.
Our Junior Infant buddies love to paint. We helped them paint pictures of their choice. As you can see, many masterpieces were produced.
