The boys and girls in Ms. Kelly’s class have been put to work and making her coffee everyday for our new Aistear theme- The Café.
We had four stations in our class- the role play station, the playdough station, the writing station and the construction station.
Children were taking orders from customers, making takeaway teas and coffees and paying with both cash and card! They made utensils and sweet treats for the café using playdough and wrote menus for the things they had made! Unfortunately, some equipment in the kitchen broke down so the children built ovens, fridges, chairs and tables using Lego to solve the problem.
We really enjoyed this theme!
