This year, we were blessed with the sunshine for Active Schools week. Each morning, we walked with the rest of the school for 'Move in the Morning' and took part in various activities throughout the day. Tug of war had everybody flexing their muscles on Tuesday before we watched the teachers play a game of basketball against the Sixth Class girls.
The highlight of the week was Sports day on Thursday, where we played rounders, basketball and completed the Ninjas obstacle course before jumping onto the bouncy castle and wobbling our way through the inflatable obstacle course. Everybody was exhausted by the end of the day! On Friday, we watched the soccer game between the Sixth Class boys and the teachers. Thank you to Mrs. O' Meara and Mr. Ennis and everybody who helped organise this fun-filled week!
