Active Week
25th Jun 2025
5th class had a jam-packed week for Active week. To kickstart the week on Monday we went to the Tennis Club for our last tennis lesson of the term. On Tuesday we got to take part in a Boxercise class with a visiting coach and we all really loved it. We were lucky enough to take a trip to Mullingar Harriers on Wednesday where the boys and girls had an opportunity to run individual races and team relays on a full size running track. One of the highlights of the week was Sports Day on Thursday where we all made the short trip up the road to St. Lomans GAA for the senior sports day. We were blessed with beautiful weather and a fun-filled day. Friday morning we walked a mile with a smile as buddies with the 2nd class children. A pit-stop at Martins for a treat was well-deserved! We then finished off our week by cheering on the 6th class students in their football match against the teachers and we can't wait for it to be our turn next year! Thank you to Mr. Ennis and Mrs. O'Mara for organising all the activities for Active Week. What a week we had!!!
