In 2022 St. Colman's became one of the 1,200 primary school included in the national DEIS programme. DEIS stands for Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools. Through DEIS, the Government gives extra resources to schools where more support is needed. This will give all students every opportunity to learn, develop and achieve in school.

As a DEIS school we aim to work closely with parents and guardians to support their child’s learning and to make children and parents feel welcome in our school.

We encourage all of our students to set high expectations for themselves and our aim is to support them to achieve their full potential through education.
